The Information Management and Collaboration Unit under the initiative of the Biomedical Sciences Master's Program collaborates with the Abiansemal Sub-district in implementing the Three Pillars of Higher Education to support the performance of the Faculty of Medicine as an educational institution. The signing ceremonial of this Cooperation Agreement was facilitated by the sub-district and took place on April 17, 2024, at the meeting room of the Abiansemal Sub-district Office.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, the Coordinator of the Information Management and Collaboration Unit, the Coordinators of the Master's Programs in Biomedical Sciences and Sports Physiology, as well as the Deputy Coordinator of the Bachelor's and Professional Doctor Education Programs, Specialists in Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy, Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, Neurology, and Radiology.
Representatives from the Abiansemal Sub-district included the sub-district head, Ida Bagus Putu Mas Arimbawa, S.Sos, village officials, Banjar Dinas leaders, PKK (Family Welfare Movement) activists, Youth Organization Chairperson, and Youth Leader. The Abiansemal Sub-district consists of 18 villages, each with its unique characteristics. The brainstorming session during this event identified the community's needs in the villages of the Abiansemal Sub-district for studies on health issues and their solutions to serve as the basis for planning and implementing subsequent village programs.
The sub-district and village representatives are eagerly awaiting the realization of this cooperation agreement to enhance the health status of the community and hope for the sustainability of research and community service activities.
