Coomunity services in Bromo General

The Research and Community Service Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, collaborated with the Bachelor of Medicine and Professional Doctor Program (PSSKPD), Bachelor of Nursing and Professional Nurse Program (PSSKPN), Bachelor of Dentistry and Professional Dentist Program, Master's Program in Biomedical Sciences, and the Clinical Microbiology Specialist Program, organized a Community Service (PKM) activity focusing on earthquake evacuation simulation and anti-bullying education for students of Ngadisari 2 Elementary School in Bromo, East Java (28/11/2023).

The event began with a report from the Coordinator of UPPM FK UNUD, Dr. Agus Eka Darwinata, Ph.D, regarding the objectives of the Community Service activity, "Earthquake Evacuation Simulation and Anti-Bullying Education." The program continued with remarks from the Head of Ngadisari 2 Elementary School, Bromo, East Java, Marsini Astuti, S.Pd. SD., M.M. In her speech, Ms. Marsini expressed hope that the information provided by the FK Unud team would be beneficial for the students of Ngadisari 2 Elementary School, Bromo, East Java, as preparation and additional knowledge for learning disaster preparedness and preventing bullying in elementary schools.

With the participation of 52 students, the FK Unud PKM team provided insights and information on disaster preparedness and preventing bullying in elementary schools. At the end of the event, a package of groceries was handed over to all the teachers at Ngadisari 2 Elementary School, and the dissemination of research products from faculty and student research (dr. Maulana Setiawan, M.Biomed.(AAM)) in the form of natural extract-based sunscreen (sunblock).
